Kašparova Residence‘s intended location is in Hejčín district in Olomouc. Housing, education and administration meet here, all in this one district. The urban plan dictates the educational function of this area. Our objective was to design modern living for the students.
Simplicity and clarity are the leading design principles. The aim of the concept is to offer an attractive housing with plentiful sunlight and greenery for the young students. The basic building block of each house is a living unit, which is self-sufficient. The unit includes sanitary facilities and its own kitchenette. Our concept offers several types of living units and all of them are accessible from the central corridor.
