The house in the narrow opening was an architectural challenge. The result is an unconventional solution that meets all the needs of an investor.

After the demolition of the original ruin of the family house a gap measuring 5.9m was created. The assignment was to fill in the gap with a new family house.
The shape of the new design is inspired by the existing houses in the street and aligns with the street itself too. The ground floor is being pushed in to allow for the covered entrance in the front.
At the back the second floor is being pushed in to create enough space for the terrace.
Trida Svobody boulevard is one of the most significant streets in the centre of Olomouc. Vienna architect Camillo Sitte designed it as a circular boulevard around the town at the end of the 19th century.
